My Dad had to move in to sheltered accommodation mainly due to his excessive hoarding following a brain injury. The house was in a complete mess. One room was even fully of rotting food. It was smelly, dirty and a health hazard. It’s not something I could have tackled myself. I contacted Daniel and he was very professional from the outset. It was a massive job and one which involved the use of numerous skips and taking the house back to a shell. The garden resembled a jungle but Daniel and his team managed to get it looking like a garden again as I remembered it! I told Daniel about my Dad’s brain injury and that my mum had died and he was most understanding and was very good with my Dad when explaining what was going to be done. We had contacted Daniel earlier in the year regarding the clearance of my Father's house, due to continuing ill health it had become evident that he was never going to return. It had been my family home from a very early age and it was an emotional and upsetting time. On contacting Daniel he came round and sympathetically worked through the house with my sister and I, leaving us with a quote but we never felt under any undue pressure. When it came to the actual clearance approximately 6 months had passed and, not only was the quote still valid, he recalled in detail the request that had been made previously.
The day of the clearance Daniel turned up at 08:30 and proceeded to clear the house, this took him in excess of ten hours. He kept me informed of the progress and once completed vacuumed the carpets. This whole process removed the problem of dismantling my family home from my shoulders. I would happily recommend Daniel to anyone in this circumstance and felt that the fee charged was money well spent. I wish him every success in his business and it is a pleasure to deal with local people providing an excellent service.

We employed Daniel to clear out connected cellars, though we did not want an entire clearance so needed to identify items to be left. Clearance of the main cellar required removing some fitted shelves and there was overall a large amount of stuff to be taken away (including large items like an old freezer). Daniel and his assistant came round for an assessment of the job, were very professional in their approach, and we received a quote very soon after. A reasonable price in our view. They arrived punctually to do the job and did this very efficiently. All the identified items were left and everything else was removed. The cellar was left in a tidy state. Removal of stuff from the cellar required more or less a days worth of porting stuff from the cellar through our breakfast room and kitchen and at the end of the day they had left these areas completely tidy as well (not always the case). We were very pleased with the service we received from Daniel, view the firm as very reliable, and are pleased to be able to strongly recommend his services on Which Local.
